However, the plan is only available in limited areas – Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Telangana and Kerala. In addition, the Rs 399 broadband program has only been made available to customers for a limited period.

According to BSNL, users will upgrade to the Fiber Basic broadband plan for Rs 499 immediately after their “Fiber Experience 399” plan expires. The Rs 449 BSNL Fiber Basic package also includes a download speed of 30 Mbps and a data consumption of 3.3 TB. After 3.3 TB of data usage, the internet speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps. This scheme allows unlimited voice calls to any network in India.

Other popular broadband plans include – Fiber Basic (Rs 449), Fiber Value (Rs 799), Fiber Premium (Rs 999), and Fiber Ultra (Rs 1,499).

In the context of Diwali, BSNL also extended on November 2 a 90-day installation fee waiver for all new customers in all telecom settings. “The competent authority has decided to remove the installation fee of Rs 250 / – (for copper connections) and Rs 500 / – (for Bharat Fiber connections) on BSNL’s fixed / broadband connections (copper / fiber / BBoWiFi / Bharat Air Fiber) on a promotional basis for a period of 90 days in all circles, ”reads the official release from BSNL.

BSNL also extends bonus offers if customers choose to make a one-time payment for 12 months or more. If users pay for 12 months, they get the service for 13 months; if they pay for 24 months, they get the service for 27 months. If they pay 36 months, customers get the service for 40 months.
