GigNet and Café Nader Sign Agreement to Provide Broadband and Managed Services to Customers at Multiple Locations of Iconic Cancun Restaurant Chain

CANCÚN, Mexico–(BUSINESS WIRE)–GigNet, a digital infrastructure company with an extensive regional fiber optic broadband network from Costa Mujeres, north of Cancún, via the Tulum Hotel Zone, announced today that it provides services broadband and managed for fast and efficient internet in the six branches of the iconic Café Nader in Cancún, Quintana Roo.

“My family felt that Cancún needed a place where locals could relax and call home. We were inspired by the traditional cafes in the port of Veracruz and opened a restaurant called El Café in 1990,” said said Carlos Blanco, founding partner of Café Nader, “The people of Cancún quickly started calling it ‘Café de la Nader’, since it is located on Avenida Nader. We have focused on providing our customers with a unique experience where they can enjoy the delicious aroma and sensational flavor. We offer delicious fresh baked bread and pastries and coffee made from high altitude beans harvested in Veracruz and carefully roasted and ground, including “Lechero” – a traditional coffee brewed at the table.”

Mr. Blanco added, “Our customers have shown their appreciation for our dining experience, and we have now opened our sixth location in Cancun. All that was missing was giving our customers the connectivity they were asking for so they could stay and savor the experience a little longer while still being productive in their day. GigNet is the perfect provider for the kind of fast, reliable connectivity we want to provide our customers who want to feel right at home at Café Nader. ”

“High-speed Internet and Wi-Fi are what Café Nader diners ask for and that’s what we offer at GigNet. GigNet, like Café Nader, is a local company with international standards. We understand that connectivity has become a necessity that we all rely on, whether we are at home, in a coffee shop or in a hotel. We socialize, maintain our activities, we entertain and we share our experience,” said Mark Carney, OBE, president of GigNet Mexico. “We are pleased to work with Carlos Blanco to provide Cancun locals and visitors a place to stay connected while enjoying the aromas and flavors of Café Nader.”
