Netomnia, one of the UK’s fastest growing fiber optic broadband operators, has announced that its full fiber optic multi-gigabit network is being rolled out across the region.
Netomnia will provide Fiber to the Premises broadband infrastructure to approximately 42,000 premises, providing access to reliable broadband, helping to sustain and diversify the local economy.
The improvement of broadband infrastructure in Bamber Bridge aims to support business activity and promote social welfare across the region.
It is also rolling out the service to 53,000 premises in Horwich
Netomnia partners with infrastructure company makehappen to deploy broadband, enabling high speed of deployment and capacity to execute, using state-of-the-art optical solutions.

Netomnia has secured £123m in funding to support its rollout strategy at the end of 2021 and aims to reach one million premises by 2023.
Netomnia makes wholesale connectivity available to Internet Service Providers, building the infrastructure for their broadband services. Its network supports symmetric multi-gigabit services (equal download and upload speeds) up to 10 Gbps (10,000 Mbps) using XGS-PON technology; this means that ISPs using Netomnia’s network will be able to offer their customers reliable superfast speeds for decades to come.
