In the newsroom regarding the halt of new registration for unifi Lite and Business Broadband, TM said it was because the company supports the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the expansion of connectivity from the fiber optic network by Jalinan Digital Negara (JENDELA). . With that, the company halted all registration for copper-based broadband services.
However, existing unifi Lite and Business Broadband customers will soon be migrated to fiber-based unifi service in stages. TM expects this to be completed by 2025, so until then all Existing Unifi Lite and Business Broadband users can still enjoy the service without any interruptions.
